MADISON WALKER #featurefriday Athlete

Champlin Park Dancer Madison Walker is this week's #featurefriday Athlete on www.prenzlowphotography.com. It's been a pleasure to work with Madison and Champlin Park Dance for winter and fall photoshoots this year. 

Madison is currently a junior at Champlin Park High School and her favorite subject in school is English. The thing she enjoys most about being a part of this dance team is that if feels like having a second family. 

• What is your best memory of participating in this sport/activity?

• Dancing at football games and team bonding.

• What foods or drinks help you gear up and stay energized for the event?

• Having pizza with the team before the football games.

• Besides sports, what do you like to do in your spare time?

• I work at Starbucks, have a lot of hard classes to study for, but I love hanging out with my friends in any spare time that I happen to have.

• Do you have any sports heroes? If so, who and what do you like about him or her?

• Gregory Drotar was one of the biggest influences on me.  He danced on Broadway and later became my ballet teacher.  He was the reason that I fell in love with ballet, and taught me so many life lessons.  I can honestly say I don't think I'd have as much passion for dance without his amazing leadership.

"These girls are a huge part of my life and they feel like an extension of my family.  We spend so much time together and I've got so many fun memories with this team, from football games to competitions to pizza party's and so much more!  They all mean so much to me and have helped me become a better dancer and teammate."
